US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor told Tucker Carlson that the Mexican drug cartels have politicians and officials in the US Congress and the DHS “on their payroll” that “supports” them

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, retired US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor said that Mexican drug cartels have enormous influence over American politicians and officials in Congress and at the DHS.

It was during a discussion about how to overcome the enormous problems that have arisen for the US and its security, with the gigantic drug importation into the country of, among other things, fentanyl provided by the powerful Mexican mafia groups, and how to actually stop these groups’ power and influence over American society, that Macgregor pointed out that these groups have enormous influence and “support” from a number of American officials.

“They [The Mexican drug cartels] have a lot of support here. Their influence reaches right up into DHS and all the way to Congress “, said Macgregor, and continued: “There are so many people on the payroll, I’m told after my visit down to the border, it’s frightening”.

Tucker Carlson responded with a follow up question to this statement just to clarify things, by asking, “American officials on the payroll of Mexican drug cartels?”, whereupon Macgregor answered, “Yeah”.

Macgregor went on and told Carlson that he have got information that suggests, that illegal migrants and drugs are coming into the country the “legal” way via the borders, since police and customs authorities are beeing bribed by the gangs.
